BachelorPrint produce the comb binding in three steps. In the first step the back and the front will get their punching holes including the pages of your paper. In the second step the pages of your academic paper will be enclosed by the back page and front of the comb binding. In the last step, the comb will be inserted in the punching holes and closed. Is your order put through our online print shop, the production process will be completed within 24 – 72 hours.
Comb binding is often used for smaller academic works due to its minimalistic style and low price. For more important papers, other bindings like the leather book binding are more suitable. Using the 3D configurator, you can test how your academic paper will look with each binding in the online print shop.

Comb binding is our most affordable option for your academic paper. The price starts by € 4.90. The total price depends on the number of pages your paper has and whether you would like extra features with your binding.

Comb binding is provided in seven different sizes, based on the number of pages. The spiral diameters’ range varies from 6 mm to 22 mm. The maximum number of pages is also based on the weight of the paper used.
Comb binding can fit more sheets of 100 g/m² paper than sheets of 120 g/m² paper. With double-sided printing you can fit up to 600 printed pages, or 300 pages, fit into our comb binding. - 1-30 pages with 100 g/m paper. 1-20 pages with 120 g/m = 6mm
- 31-50 pages with 100 g/m. 21-40 pages with 120 g/m = 8mm

- 71-90 pages with 100 g/m. 61-80 pages with 120 g/m = 13mm
